Uncorked Tasting Room is one of our Austin pal's favorite hangs. From it's patio perch, you can sip wine with an amazing view of the city:
I had already had dinner, so I ordered the flight of Sparkling Rose wine and these delicious almond cookies with lemon cream and strawberries:
One of our friends joined us and ordered his favorite dish... the Schnitzel! Imagine my surprise when it arrived and it was not, in fact, a hot dog. Apparently schnitzel is closer to a chicken fried steak, with pork. This one was served with caraway braised cabbage and wild mushrooms in a dijon mustard sauce. Even though I'd already eaten dinner and was on dessert, I tasted... it's amazing:
